Higher-power productions can utilise our dedicated 32A 3-phase 5-pin outlet. Distros are not included but are available to hire.

There are numerous 13A domestic outlets dotted around the studio for laptops and other low-power equipment.

Heartland is offered on a dry hire basis. Studio essentials, including tables, chairs, garment rails, steamers and extension leads, are also available to add to your booking.

We have extensive on-site parking available, and vehicle access is rarely an issue. For productions expecting more than five vehicles, large vans, trucks or oversized vehicles, we simply ask that you let us know in advance.

A dedicated crew prep area is included with every booking, with a large fridge, microwave, kettle and workspace for catering and refreshments.

We’re also within delivery range of Colchester, with services such as Deliveroo available to the studio.

The studio is not fully soundproofed, but our rural location and insulated construction provide a generally quiet environment with minimal external noise.

Our rural setting also allows us to accommodate louder productions and extended shooting hours when agreed in advance. If your shoot requires absolute silence or critical sound recording, please let us know before booking so we can advise accordingly.

Vehicles can be driven directly into the studio via our cargo entrance, with level concrete access throughout. Door clearance is limited, so please provide vehicle dimensions ahead of your production to confirm access.

The cove can be painted to a custom colour to suit your production. Advance notice is required, with an additional fee covering both the colour change and restoration to white after the shoot.
